1. Apple Cider Vinegar

You don't have to look around so hard to find the answer to your question because running to your kitchen will already solve your problem. Try looking for an apple cider vinegar and you're good!

 

Ingredients:

 1/2 cup of apple cider 

1/2 cup of water

 Simply mix the ingredients together and massage it well on the scalp while leaving it for a few minutes. Rinse well with cool water and repeat the procedure during the week until you are satisfied with the result.

 

2. Baking Sod

Calling the attention of all baking lovers out there who has dandruff and itchy dry scalp because here's a trivia, do you know that you can't throw away those extra baking soda just yet because it actually saves you from hair problems aside from the help it gives your kitchen? Try it now and see the result.

 

Ingredients:

2 tablespoon of baking soda

Water

Olive Oil

Mix the baking soda and water together to create a paste then apply it to your scalp by section, add a small amount of olive oil to make hair softer and manageable before putting the ingredients on your scalp. Leave it for 5-10 minutes. Repeat once or twice a week.

 

3. Listerine Mouthwash

After washing your mouth with Listerine, try using it in your hair to avoid dandruff since it was created to fight fungus and bacteria. Number one factor that causes dandruff is a fungus, right?  Everyone knows that.

 

Ingredients:

Spray bottle

 Water

Colorless Listerine mouthwash as it stains hair

Mix the ingredients, spray on the scalp and leave it for 30 minutes. Rinse with water. Repeat procedure at least twice weekly.

 

4. Lemon

Most of us use lemon and water for detoxifying while some use it weight loss program that's why it is so important to leave one at home because of its antiseptic property that's a great help in treating dry itchy scalp.

 

Ingredients:

Lemon Juice

Water

Mix water and lemon juice. Massage it into scalp and leave for 5 minutes. Repeat method every time scalp itches.

 

5. Healthy diet

Of course one of the best remedies for dandruff and itchy scalp is to eat healthily adding a balanced diet every day. So always choose green and leafy vegetables and don't forget to eat fruits especially bananas and avocados. Why? because it's also a fruit to your hair that reduces dryness, inflammation, and itchiness.

Ingredients:

2 pieces of Bananas

1 whole piece avocado

Mash it together and apply it to scalp leaving for 30 minutes. Rinse with cold water. Repeat it regularly until itchiness subsides.

 

6. Sunlight

Get enough sunlight but don't stay too long so you won't get sunburned though since the sun is a great source of Vitamin D it also helps dry up excess oil on the scalp.
